Did you know that many wonders can be found in the municipalities along the Wunderline route? You can discover them with the Wunderline GO via the Outdooractive app with different tours. Each tour leads to a special history of the place and its unique wonder.
The app on your mobile phone or tablet shows you the way, and the tour naturally starts at the station. In line with the motto, ‘I see something you don't see,’ information appears along the way in the form of photos, videos, audio or text, sometimes a quiz, and of course the wonders. These can be collected (digitally). Augmented reality and 3D animation make it possible and exciting!
The Wunderline GO via Outdooractive app was developed on the initiative of municipalities along the Wunderline. Its purpose is to make the region better known. The city of Oldenburg is leading the project, which is being executed by Ostfriesland Tourismus and the Province of Groningen/Wunderline project. WunderlineGO was made possible thanks to the INTERREG V A-programme for Germany-Netherlands using resources from the European Fund for Regional Development (EFRD) and by the provinces of Drenthe, Fryslân and Groningen, as well as the German state of Lower Saxony, with contributions from the participating municipalities.
