From the Wunderline Project Team, coordination is provided by Bettina Fabich, who puts her heart and soul into strengthening chain mobility in the region. Her role as lynchpin in the network is crucial for smooth cooperation between the Dutch and German partners. They work together to improve the quality of station environments, bicycle facilities, good connections to bus connections and to make municipalities visible and attractive to train passengers. In the process, much is learned from practical examples and insights from both countries.
To make this cooperation visible and to find each other, a photo book was recently compiled with portraits of all participants from both countries. It includes a map that clearly shows the network's impact for the region.
Bettina looks to the future with confidence: ''We have laid a solid foundation. This cooperation makes it clear that the Wunderline is more than just a rail link. It contributes to strengthening the northern border region between Bremen and Groningen. I am convinced that we can continue to deepen and promote this valuable cooperation in the future.''
With the commitment and involvement of all partners, the Chain Mobility network remains an example of how cross-border cooperation really takes shape. Step by step, person by person!
