New Wunderline signs at stations highlight European collaboration

Information signs are now on display at the Zuidbroek, Scheemda and Winschoten stations along the Wunderline, showing how many organisations are collaborating on this cross-border railway line. The Wunderline has been made possible in part by the Connecting Europe Facility for Transport (CEF-T). The work on these three stations was carried out thanks to this European funding.

The signs list all the partners who have contributed to the development of the Wunderline: the European Union, the Province of Groningen, the Lower Saxony Ministry of Economic Affairs, Transport and Construction, the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen, the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management, the Federal Ministry of Transport, ProRail and DB InfraGO.

The Wunderline stands for improved accessibility, modern infrastructure and strong Dutch-German cooperation. With these new signs, that story will soon be visible at the stations too.

The signs are made from sustainable Tricoya and were designed in collaboration with Bureau Spoorbouwmeester.
