On Germany's ‘Tag der Schiene’ (Day of the Railway), Deutsche Bahn will give interested people an exclusive insight into the construction of the Friesenbrücke. In Westoverledingen, you can join a guided tour with viewing platform and info box, while in Weener the new bridge operator's house and the history of the bridge will be highlighted. The tours will take place on Friday 20 September from 3pm to 4.30pm.
